Upon turning and when I start to accelerate before I get on plane I see some water creeping past the back seat, Boat seems to sit pretty low in the back, but not over the deck low. A couple of weeks ago I pulled the plug on the toons, out of one nothing, the other, around 20 gallons (from many trips, last trip only 1-2 gallons)but still water creeping under the seat. These are foam filled toons. Would the foam hold enough extra weight after being drained to make a difference? In the back I have 22 gallon(135lbs) tank on one side and 3 batteries (60lbs?)on the other. The back seat is PT wood and might weigh 80-90 lbs. plus maybe another 30 lbs in gear Add in one passenger on back seat and captain at the helm and I add another 400 lbs,for a total of around 715 lbs.Is this too much weight on the back for a 24 ft'r?
While in motion(someone else driving) I look under the front of the boat and see that the fins on side of the transom are deflecting the water on top of the toons. Should I try to readjust them or is this normal?

Not sure about your water deflection, but if you got 20 gals. out of one of the toons you surely have plenty of water still in there soaked in to the foam.

Ya it would , foam is kinda like a sponge, once it is wet for awhile it absorbs water and doesn't let it go easily.

I have a 16 boat and it got water logged ,I pulled the foam and put it in garbage bags then weigh them, memory serves it was around 300 and some pounds.

Run your tongue jack up as far as it will go and leave the plug out adn see if it ever quits leaking, if it is water logged it will drain a bit of water for days.

If it is there really isn't much you can do but fix the leak and keep draining the tube every chance you get, eventually most of the water will come out.
