Overheat at low psi

My alpha 1 gen 2 over heats at idle or below 50 psi. Once I increase rpms to get 50 psi. Engine runs at 140 just fine. Any ideas?

What is this 50 psi reading? oil pressure?

I think you're talking about oil pressure, and in this case one has nothing to do with the other. I think you're saying that at low rpm's you have low oil pressure and an overheating issue. As you increase rpm's your oil pressure rises and the water temp goes down. Probably the water pump impeller. When was it changed last?

Just boat the boat last summer. I just picked up an impeller kit. I will start there.
