I have a 1994 230 Sundancer. I recently changed out the prop, impeller and gave it a much needed tune up. When we lauched it back into the water, I noticed that at cruising speed (approx. 2800-3200rpm), she runs fine, however if I go WOT (approx. 4200rpm) she starts to slowly peak out until it reaches 220 f and the the temp alarm goes off (which it never did before). When I back off (back to 2800-3000rpm) it stops. Both thermostat and impeller seem to be working properly. I'm fairly new to boating, so I am now stumped. Where do I go from here?Any help out there would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Todd, welcome to iboats.
Using your email addy as a screen name is not really a good idea, maybe change it to something else.
I see you also posted the question in the Mercruiser I/O forum, so I will close this one.
