First I though I had a fuel flow problem as I could not
hear the alarm buzzer before engine cut back to idle
speed. Looks like buzzer corroded from damp location
under center console.
Anyway, what is the recommended cooling system evaluation sequence for water pump, thermostat, thermoswitch, cooling plugging.
Second, has anyone ever tried Sodium gluconate
to flush out cooling passages. This chemical is
a good solvent/chelant and not very aggresive to metal.
Thanks.
