If the water pump housing and plate are damaged, they should be replaced or it could damage your new impeller.

Re: Overheating

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas about ifi have to lift the engine to get the water housing off to get to the thermostat and head so i can replace the head gasket it seems very close to the body of the motor housing and if so how is it i can get the motor out and is it very difficult im a bit of a novice at this.
