P.C. / Diversity, who cares?

I'd like to know who gives a rats rear end about political correctness or diversity? I'm so sick of being told you can't say this or you can't say that (by society in general), because you may offend someone, or hurt their feelings.<br />Waaaaaa! Who cares? <br /> <br />Tell big brother to stop passing new laws to protect these mamby-pamby whiners. <br /><br />Part of diversity crock is the addition of the hyphenated American: for example: Christian American, Atheist American, African American, White American, Democratic American, Republican American, and so on. We are all Americans! (At least those of us that are here legally). <br /> <br />There is a difference between right and wrong. We need to go back to the basics that this country was founded on. (Which were Christian principles). Those laws were ample, we just need Judges to enforce those laws and to throw out the B.S.. <br />By now I’m sure you think I’m a racist, bigot, right wing extremist, or whatever it is this society has taught you about people like myself. That is not the case! If that’s what you get out of this message you may be part of the problem! Be accountable for your actions! <br />Grow up! Get a life! Deal with it! Quit whining! <br /><br />If someone hurts your feelings they are either a Butt-hole, or YOU need a reality check. Sometimes we need to have our toes stepped on to keep us in balance. <br /><br />Diversity IS destroying America! <br /><br />Now, please feel free to lay it on me! You wont hurt my feelings. Even if you do, don’t worry I wont sue you!<br />

That's what I'm talking about. The revival of the place for airing out opinions. We've been herded like sheep into this PC world for the last 30 years. Why, because we come from a gullible time where we considered the stranger a friend we hadn't met yet, and readily accepted the blame for the complaints of the times. It's been one heck of a 30 year guilt trip. Glad to see the old spark is still there, and I'm not the only one that notices it. Of course I agree with many of the changes that occurred, but that ole PC train keeps on rolling and has morphed into a different kind of institution.

All our ancestors came from somewhere. Diversity in this sense is a great strength, because most everyone who arrived on our shores until recent history strove to get with the program- find a job, make a living, take care of their family, and get along with the neighbors. But the diversity dhud speaks of is a mere political game, and is rightly criticized.<br /><br />Feel you need special protection, special handling, free money and food, free lawyers to get you out of jail after you rob somebody or get busted for drugs, freedom from responsibility and any other special entitlement you can get? Then please FEEL FREE to leave and go enjoy socialism as it continues to be "enjoyed" in Cuba or China. I don't care where anyone is from, just that they behave responsibly and pull their weight. Anyone who FEELS we need to make everything PC can go join the socialists elsewhere. Those who promote this PC garbage do not really deserve to be here, despite their guaranteed freedom to be so stupid. Fortunately for them this IS still America, land of the free. Freedom is the right to be able to choose personal responsibility, not be told what to believe as the PC nitwits would have. These idiots need to at least go on an extended vacation abroad and see for themselves what a good thing we have here, built by cooperation and hard work, not selfishness and divisiveness.

Imagine if the Democrats loose a bunch of Senate and Congressional seats this next election.<br />It's obvious Bush won't have a viable opponent, so all of his conservative appointees to the judicial branch get approved.<br />What a worthwhile goal!
