Watched the game tonight. What a blowout.<br />I thought Favre was great. With all the personal turmoil he has gone through in the last year I do not know how he does it. <br />Or maybe I do. <br />If it were me I would not leave my wifes side in her fight with cancer. But that is just me.

AK<br />Agreed. All those points. However what is really important? Trophies, records or the ones you love? I have a loved one that started chemo last week. It is as he says the most terrifying thing anyone can go through. They are trying to kill you to save you.<br />I will let my machismo subside when something attacks my bride or family and freinds.<br />No offense meant. Just explaining my priorities.

I agree about the chemo and all that.<br />But who was up in the top of the stadium?<br />I think his wife wanted him to play.<br />He has been through a lot, as far as family/friends.<br />I don't hold that against him. I commend him for pushing through it. I think if Deanna would have asked him to not play and be with her tonight, he would have.<br /><br />AK Chappy

i think farve is there for deanna when she needs him, and for him to go out there and focus even with that on his mind is remarkable. farve sitting out and nest to deanna at home, sure is not gonna help her at all. in fact watching him play probably helps her take her mind off of it too. as far philly goes? i hate to say but i dont the pack eii win. but you just never know!

She's getting the best care she possibly could I'm sure. If she were on her deathbed I'm sure you couldn't pry him away, even for a Superbowl. As it was, she looks in fair health and I expect will come through it just fine. I wish her a full and speedy recovery and sympathize with her every time the media makes certain the whole world knows of her illness. THAT makes me mad. She is a private person. Favre is in the limelight. Heatlh issues for Bret are arguably fair game for the media. Regarding his wife, they should Shut The F..k Up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The MIL brought a tv over last week and my son hooked the ant. up last night so I got to watch my first game in 6 years. <br /><br />Except for the coach being able to call that timeout, which prevented a turnover and score. Just another disruption to the flow of the game imo.<br /><br />Has that microphone and support/control wires ever interfered with the ball? <br /><br />And that commercial for cialis(sp). The last thing I want to have think about is someone other than myself with a chubby. Big yuck factor.

The pack is one defensive lineman, another good cornerback, and a decent punter away from being a real contender. <br /><br />They were real fun to watch last night. Farve was in rare form but N. Davenport was the star in my opinion. Over 8 yards a carry? That is huge. He had holes that were YARDS wide to run through. The line was as good as it has been all year.
