Re: Paging CarpHunter

Hello Gonfishn,

Well, you will be traveling a little north from where I live, but I am somewhat familiar with certain places along the way.

You will be traveling a very scenic route by using Hwy 50. You will pass through Bedford, where my brother lives. He works at the Crane Naval Weapons Support Center, lots of nice big bucks there, (had to throw that in).

You will be in Indiana, so there isn't really too many points of interest. :D

When you get to Montgomery, you have to eat at the Amish restaurant. Montgomery is heavily populated with Amish folks, so be careful of the slow moving horse drawn buggies.

I'm sorry, even after looking at the map, I just don't see many points of interest along Hwy 50. That doesn't mean there isn't any, it just means that I am not familiar with every area along that highway. I do know that it is very scenic though, and that sounds like what you are looking for.

If you look at the map, look south of Hwy 50 straight down from Seymour, you will see Corydon, I live close to there. I am much more familiar with the southern most portion of the state.

I have been to the Ozarks in Arkansas while doing some turkey hunting, we stayed in Harrison Arkansas.

Sorry, I know I wasn't much help.

Have a safe trip gonfishin. :)
