My Johnson 9.9 is a 1975 model. I double checked the model year and it is a 1975 model not a 1979l. It is painted a greenish gray. I had to put a new lower unit on it and it is a white color. I want to paint it the same color as the rest of the motor. I reviewed several questions posted about painting the lower unit and many suggested the Tempo brand of paints. So far I have not been able to find the greenish gray color from them. I live in a small town and there are no dealers in my area. If anyone knows of a source of this color please let me know. I did talk to an auto paint store and they said that they could mix it for me, but I think that would be a more expensive route to go and
