Ayuh,... The easiest fix for the bottom paint is More of the same... If ya want the good Looks...
Or, have somebody scrape/ waterblast/ whatever it off... Alotta Work to remove...

The trim tabs are probably Bennett's,...
Whatever brand, replacements, or parts shouldn't be much of an issue...

I would remove the old AF paint..then prep/coat with 2 coats of Interlux 2000..then put 2 coats of VC17 origional on it..

Just me though..

I agree with Bond-o and WD- remove all the old stuff first.
Choices- sanding, scraping, sand/sodablasting, chemical stripping. All are difficult and time consuming but necessary for a proper job.
When I stripped my 25 year-old boat bottom I intended to have it professionally sodablasted but ultimately couldn't afford it. I tried chemical stripping but discovered that hand scraping worked well due to the 8+ layers of antifouling that had been built up over time. I spent (literally) 4 full weekends on my back wearing a space suit, mask and goggles and was able to get all the heavy stuff off. The next 3 weekends were spent with 60 grit in a palm sander getting it ready for barrier coat.
The EASIEST part of the job was the application of the new barrier coat and bottom paint.
In your case, I think a full 10 mil application of barrier coat would do the job if you're rack storing.
Here's some pics:

Re: paint paint paint ugly bottom

thank you for the input, if it was in the water all the time and i couldnt see the fat mess of bottom paint it wouldnt bother me so much. but the fact that i have spent the last 12 years painting show cars and making them nice it drives me crazy ... the barrier coat is what i am looking for couldnt find it online (i dont know the names of the stuff) is that what yacht DR. is referring to ? i guess i cant put my boat on a rotisserie like i do cars to do the bottom so i guess ill know what Michaelangelo felt like

Yes, the barrier coat YD mentioned is Interlux Interprotect 2000E. It's a 2 part epoxy and what I used on my boat before applying the antifouling paint.
I rolled it on and it was pretty easy.
I paid $100/gallon for the 2000E in April '09 and took 3 to get 10 mil thickness on my 34 footer.
Here' some info:
