Hi all. I'm new to the forum and a soon to be new Lowe boat owner. My AN160T should be delivered the middle of this month. I was checking out some of the post on this site and saw that paint peeling has been a big problem in the recent past. Does anyone know if the issue has been resolved... I'm starting to develop a knot in my stomach.

Re: Paint peeling

I picked up my boat last April. I have had no problems with the paint. Just enjoy the boat.

Re: Paint peeling

B Nap,
As stated in earlier posts, I was one of the LUCKY ones that had my 2008 hull re-painted 2 times and was ready for a 3rd year in a row but Cabelas discovered a crack in the hull (yeah, I know, much worse than peeling paint) and Lowe replaced the hull with a new 2011.
Happy to say they got the "primer issue" straightened out and can only complain about my own boat skills related to scratches on my new hull. No more peeling issues (knock on wood).

Re: Paint peeling

Thanks for the update, I'm glad your issues all worked out. I spoke to the guy at the marina when my boat came in and asked about the paint peel problem. He said he had one case at the marina ( Lake Hapacong, NJ) back in 2008. He explained the company had a problem but handled it to the customers satisfaction.
The only problem I'm having is waiting for the correct guide-on rollers, the boat came in with the wrong ones installed on the trailer. So far I've been waiting two weeks. I'll give it another week and then I'll call lowe customer service directly.
