Paint help needed

So i started my paint last night after work, mixed up some rustoleum topside battle ship grey and some black, reason for the mix was i wanted a darker grey than the regular battle ship, long story short it turned out darker than i wanted. So i have enough paint to roll out 2 more coats....

question: anyone know if i could mix another color with my paint to lighten it up some and give me the something closer to what I’m after, and is i possible to mix regular rustoleum with top side without any ill affects in the paint? I included 2 pics of the boat after the first coat and the 2 pictures of the vehicles are what i was trying to achieve. Thanks

you white might just make it a drab grey paint mixing is a tough thing, id suggest if it really bothers you go to a paint store and have them mix the color you are wanting. also be aware that boat might look lighter in sun then inside house under those cool white lights because those bulbs are taking out natural colors in light.

Mixing Rustoleum Pro High gloss white paint will work just fine.

Thanks for the reply’s all, I added some white slowly to the mix and it toned it right to where i wanted it.
