#1 is Klean-Strip brand Kwik Strip.

#2 is Savogran Super stripper.

#2 was a few dollars cheaper for the Qt and 5$ cheaper by the gallon. I purchased both at Fleet Farm in Green Bay.

I followed the directions for each exactly. Shake well. Pour into metal containers. Apply thick coat using a brush. Brush in the same direction. Wait 15 minutes then scrape.

The Kwik-Strip is way thicker than #2. Also it is clear while #2 has blue tint.

I sectioned off two squares on the hull. I had power washed the hull a few days ago and you can see that the red coat which was laid over the factory orange had been coming off The white towards the bottom is over spray from having sprayed test coats last week. This is the before shot.

This is after one application and scraping

This is after a second application, scraping and then hitting it with a 80 grit pad on the orbital.
