i have an 83 eluder which has metal flake with clear over it. the sides and bottom are perfect. the top is totally missing the clear. right down to the metalflake. im wondering if i can wet sand this without ruining it or if i should just clear it after cleaning it good. not sure if the sanding will damage the metalflake. just where it turns to the sides of the boat it is peeling so i will have to do some sanding there but its not real visible because of the low rail on this boat. ive painted quite a few cars so i think i can do this one. also does anyone have a good clear they can recommend for this job......thx in advance, bill
