Hi guys I have a question..what would be the best way to brighten up OR paint the exterior of my 15ft bayliner? I want to paint it but if there's any product to brighten up the finish what is it? If I do decide to paint what products are the best? Sorry i'm newer to boating and don't know these things yet. Thanks!!!!!

Re: Painting exterior and outboard

If it's just oxidized, get some rubbing compound and a buffer and to to work on it. After that, take a look and decide whether it really needs paint. Lots of thread on the forum about painting hulls and outboards...run a search for background info. The work in painting is prep...time, time, time, time. Take shortcuts and you won't be pleased with the result, no matter which paint/product you choose to use.
