I am refinishing the fence on my pontoon boat, I have striped it painted it with Duralux paint and while applying the decals I was scuffing up some of the paint. It has been almost two weeks since I painted it. What can I use now as a top coat to prevent scuffing the paint?

It may take many weeks to fully harden, and putting something over it will just complicate things, so wait a while longer.

So it's been about four weeks is that still not long enough? I am wondering about a wax or sealer?

Wax or sealer will do nothing to prevent scuffing, and if the paint isn't fully dry it will just seal in the solvent that needs to escape. If it is fully dried it may just be one of those low cost paints that isn't very durable.

Hey Jared I'm curious about that Duralux paint, which one did you use? There's aluminum boat paint, enamel and a 2 part.

Their website is like a Walmart ad, low info with only a brief description.
