Painting Prop

Don't know if this is the right place for this question...........but here it is:<br /><br />When I took the boat out of the water last fall, I noticed some growth on the prop, not much just a little.........no barnacles or anything like that, just a little algae.<br /><br />Is it advisable to paint the prop with the same antifouling paint as the O/D.<br /><br />Its a Mercruiser I/O.

Na, the paint won't stay on it, just use the boat more often.......
