Well I been Surfin' again and I found this...http://www.zoro.com/?gclid=CjwKEAjws...B&gclsrc=aw.ds

I looked under Acrylic Enamel Paints and Voila'!!! I discovered you could buy the Industrial 7400 Rustoleum Acrylic Based Paint Products from these guys!!!! This usually is a Wholesale item but here's a source. This is really good paint and when the Acrylic Hardener is added you will get and extremely High Gloss and very HARD DURABLE finish. When I was younger we used this paint on Oil field equipment and it was some Tuff Stuff!!! I couldn't find it when I did my boat or it WOULD have been the product I used. I still can't find anyone that sells Rustoleums Hardener for this paint but I know for a fact that they make it but usually only for wholesale. Zoro Also sells the Industrial Clear Coat by the Gallon and It's just like the Clear used in the auto industry. We used it on the Truck Cabs for the Drilling Trucks that we painted. Good UV qualities. You might want to check this site out. They carry all kinds of stuff.

I like any and all threads about paint. My problem, or I should say issues, not necessarily a problem, is I know how to shoot PPG automotive quality paints and therefore will go back to such finishes knowing I can make the finish amazing. All these other paints are probably the same chemical mixtures (in different ratios though). But I know how to mix and shoot PPG paint. In other words, I will go to what I know on a project instead of trying something unknown and screwing up the finish on most any project. It takes a lot of elbow grease to get a primer coat ready for the final paint coat finish. So I would go to my known ability instead of experimenting with new things. But that is just me... JMHO!

WOG, that Rustoleum DTM Acrylic Water based enamel I have used on a couple of trailers and has held up very well. I see the 7400 can also be found at Sears. Now I'll have to see if the company my wife works for carries it as they are an Industrial Supplier for Rustoleum.
