Painting

I would like to paint my aluminum 14 foot rowboat. It lives on it's trailer, I don't store it in the water. <br /><br />What type of paint should I use?

Go to your local auto paint store and use automotive paint. Explain you are painting aluminum and get the proper primer. When your satisfied you can also clear coat the boat.<br /><br />Depending on how much the aluminum flexes when you are in the water you might also consider adding a "flex additive" to the paint (also available at paint stores.<br /><br />Bob
