Guys, I need some help here. I have my manual on the backorder? should show up in the June, but I would like to order the impeller or impeller kit for my motor, so i will show up in time.
Is there a place where I can lookup the part numbers?
I have 1993 Force 40 hp 2 stroke.
Thanks for your help.

Are you sure on the year of the motor? I can only find that 40 hp were made through 1995-1999.

Re: Part number for impeller?

The 40 hp was indeed made from 1992-1999.
There is no aftermarket supplier making the impeller, only Mercury.

Mercury part number for the impeller is 47 - F433065-2 $15

For the water pump kit, FK1073 $140

Thanks for clearing up my error Roscoe. I did a search on a few sites a came up with those years, kinda funny that the other years weren't posted though.

Thanks guys! Exactly what I needed. So I guess it was Mercury lower end at the end, right?

Re: Part number for impeller?

No, not a Merc lower unit.
It is the old Chrysler/USMarine lower unit (1984-1994). When Merc bought them out, they continued with parts support.

A Merc lower unit was used on the 1995-1999 models, so there are thousands more using the impeller, making it worth while for the aftermarket crowd to supply it.

Re: Part number for impeller?

Thanks a lot!
I have ordered the impeller, wanted the whole kit with gaskets but they did not have one.
Old one is in good shape, but since I took it apart then might as well change it.

Also the quick question on changing it:
It looks like the impeller sits int he middle of the shaft, so I did not see anything that holds it. I could not turn it on the shaft, so I assume there is something that holds it.
What is the best way to remove it from the shaft?
