Partially garage/driveway/boat storage

Heres my idea.. gunna add on to my driveway.. i have a never ending supply of rocks due to a big hill of them in my backyard. .. so im thinking for the retaining wall gunna use those rocks.. than use them for fill.. than on top ill just some crushed stone.. shouldnt be much crushed stone if i lay the rocks in right.. it will be any comments or opinions always help..

than im still debating this part.. im going to put a little roof off of the garage over it for winter. than i would have some plastic all around it to sheild from snow..

do you have an HOA in you neighboure hood?ite want to check
also would you need to clear it with the people next door yard looks close?

Looks like a good spot for it. That's going to require a LOT of rocks to fill in. Maybe just build the wall and put a 'fill wanted' sign out front and see if you can't get a dump truck to give you a load. Then you can just level it and concrete it and be done with it.

I say screw the neighbors, if they didn't want a boat that close to their house, they should have bought more land.

neighbor on that side can give a rats butt lol he loves us.. we dont have an HOA.. actually the neighbor on that side has the same thing.. .my rents are saying no go.. but im gunna sneak it in

You may want to check with your local zoning board. Around here there are rules on how close a structure or driveway can be to the property line. I think it's called an "offset".

Lay down a layer of filter fabric or geotextile before you fill. This will keep the gravel on the surface and it will never sink into the ground.
