-11 up here, we managed to completely avoid that!!!!!!!!!! for once hope the "air dont freeze" method of winterization works,, .. wil find out in a few months............damn it's cold!!!

No wind chill, just the static temps,...

My outdoor wood boiler usually runs 'bout 20/ 24 hours on a full load of wood, even crap wood like box-elder,...

Yesterday, 'n today, it's runnin' barely 8 hours on a full load of hard maple,...
It's runnin' Full Bore, 'n the house can't get to 70? inside,...

We had 30MPH winds all night and single digit temps. One pipe froze, and I needed to give it the torch to melt it. I have another one frozen now, eventhough it is a balmy 12*F.

Here in KC, we're getting a splash of tropical weather with high's in the 30's followed tonight by low's around 4 degrees and wind chill's through tomorrow of up to -30. Yay winter. I need an indoor space to wrench on the boat. Looking at her sitting outside in this weather makes me cringe, even if she is a cheap ole 15' alumi.
