I've been putting off changing my connecting shaft bearings and ujoints, engine side bearing is getting noisy. Ujoints are tight, but will replace them anyways. I've made arrangements with a friend who owns a tow service to lift the engine out with his telescoping boom. I'll get everything disconnected, then tow the boat over and do the rest at his shop, that way I'll have the use of his press.

I would like to have the parts ordered and here before I start. I've been studying these forums and exploded views. Would this list be the appropriate parts to place on order. I have an 86 VP A225E with a 275 Sterndrive.

Engine side bearing
Seal
Locking clips
Transom side bearing
Locking clip
Seal
2 Rubber seal Rings
Two Ujoints
New bellows

For those with experience changing these is there anything else that I should have on hand.

While you've got the upper gear box off, i would consider changing the intake water elbow and gasket. At least the gasket if the elbow is still good.

Also you should replace the two orings, #17 in this link. Only if you plan to pull the double bearing box to replace the ujoints. It can be done without splitting the mounting ring, #35, and the double bearing box, #12, but I've not done it that way.
