Parts Needed 1959 Johnson 50hp

Hi,<br /><br />I got my parts catalog for this motor today. I am looking online for some parts. Where Can I find them,iboats does not have them.<br /><br />Impeller or Water pump repair/rebuild kit<br />Gear Case seals/gaskets.<br /><br />As always thank for your help, this forum has saved me time and $$ as well as taught me a thing or two about my old motor<br /><br />Daron<br /><br />T

You can get them ordered by a JohnnyRude dealer or a NAPA store.<br /><br />If no luck there, try www.twincityoutboard.com<br /><br />Good luck.

It sounds silly but try NAPA auto parts they have a pretty good selection of parts you can order

if you have no luck there, or your local johnyrude dealer, a bearing supply should be able to get all the bearings and seals for you. That where I got mine for my 58 50hp.

Grover, When dealing with with most Napa parts people you will have to have patience. You will have to ask them to look in their marine parts catolog, that most do not know they have. Ask them to order you a copy as well. Also be aware that most of these people have absolutly no expirence in this feild and have no idea what you are asking for.

Alcan is right. I went into one and they told me they don't sell many marine parts. I was like are you kidding. What you might have to do is ask for the manager. Explain that you are not complaining but you need marine parts and most of the time the manager will be the most knowledgable in this field. They have a marine part book that would put the New York City phone book to shame.
