It should kind of gush/spray out when the engine is hot and you're throttled up. When the engine is cold, it's more of a spritz. <br />What you see coming out of the hole in the back is hot water being dumped by the thermostat. If the water coming from the engine isn't hot enough, the thermostat diverts it back through the engine. If it's hot enough though, it dumps it out the hole in the back.<br />Hope this describes it ok.
