Pee-hole question

After running my 1985 Merc 25 hp in a tub for about 10 minutes, I shut her down, and restarted it about 2 minutes later, and there was very little water coming out of the hole. Is this normal?
It was peeing real nice before that.

Run a piece of wire or weedeater line up it and see if it's just clogged up a bit...

When was the last time the impellar was changed? I have had them go bad "instantly" when nothing appeared wrong. I would invest the time to check it. I had a brand new one go bad last year after 1 outing and mercury replaced it..... it was faulty.

I agree with proping the tube with weedeater line but I would check the pump too.

How long after the restart are we talking?

It takes a minute to build up through the system.​
