pee hole

hi guys<br />when i open up my motor a bit the water seems to start coming out the pee hole slower than it does at low speed.is this normal?the motor is a 7os model 40hp johnson,any help would be appreciated.<br /><br />many thanks<br />

this can happen sometimes if running on muffs, try running in a garbage can, its a better way of checking for sure, ( or in the lake )

Also check to make sure the line is not partially plugged and plug gets worse under pressure. Rod out the opening with a short stiff wire and then backflush with a garden hose.
