So, I bought a Regal 1800 LSR Volvo 4.3 that had a few guage issues and needed a new starter. I've correct just about all of that took it out last weekend. Ended up getting some vibrations around 1500 rpm, and couldn't get above 3000. I went to replace the prop Saturday and found nut was loose probably around 40Ft-lbs. With the new one on and tightened in the factory 70-80ft-lbs the prop won't spin and the boat won't go into gear. Any ideas?

Did you reinstall all the hardware correctly?

Yes, the rear spacer and spline spacer both installed. I measured the new prop vs the old prop and found the new prop insert sat 1.5mm higher in the housing. They are the same part number and both OEM, so I guess the good prop was spun and the previous owner used it anyway further damaging the lower unit.
