Anybody can tell me where is located the relief valve on a Perkins M135 ?
A friend has a little problem, when the engine is cold the pressure is a little bit high and revving up the pressure goes up, but after 20 minutes running, the pressure stabilize, still a little bit high but revving up it does not increase anymore. I think it may be the valve that do not work properly. Anybody know how to dissolve heavy sludge before an oil change ?
Thanks

You may know it better than me, but I'm not sure it is not good for the gauge indicator as it goes to the end stop limit...:D

I'm more of a diesel guy than any other motor. If she were mine...I'd change the oil and filter just as you normally would do and see what happens. If that doesn't solve the problem, I have a guy here that has a manual and is an expert at these engines. Let us know what the results are.

Good Luck!
