My pontoon barge fuel cap's crusty O-ring finally gave up the ghost, so I started poking around to find a replacement. Perko's website specifies a part # 054000099B. This is readily available on eBay and a few other places, but is awfully expensive for an O-ring.
I ordered a pack of 2 from an eBay vendor and received them quickly. Took out my calipers and started measuring.
Perko #054000099B is nothing more than a generic #224 nitrile O-ring. You can order them in bulk for under 20 cents each.
