Designed originally as a ballast tank, ideally I'd like to clean it and drink from it. Would that be food grade material? Is it even cleanable to that level?
I assume the sack was filled with lake water that people pee in and other stuff when it was used. I don't think you can clean it enough to store drinking water.
I wouldn't use it for potable water. Check with the maker and see what they say.
