Pic's link from Yahoo won't show after a while...?

It happenned to my posts more than once. I have Yahoo photos to keep my pics (as well as photobucket). I noticed, whenever I posted my link using Yahoo's url where my pic resides; it seems to work okay for a few times (for a day or two); but afterward it won't open anymore; it only showing a "pic icon"; and even attempting to "show picture" on this icon won't open the picture!<br /><br />So, I experimented by signing up for photobucket as well. So far, linking my post with pic from photobucket seems to work fine even after few days!<br /><br />Can someone explain what happen? <br />Thanks for the input!

They probably don't allow external linking to your pics from other outside sources. Many photo storage sites have gone this way. I idea at Yahoo is that they want you to invite others to view your album on their/your Photo website...External linking to the pics is verboten....Photo Bucket, now that's another matter, it's just fine over there....

I wish Yahoo would disclose this to their members if they are doing this.<br /><br />I noticed when it happened the first time to me some weeks ago, the url in the unopen pic icon and the url of the same pic in Yahoophoto are not excactly identical; I thought it was probably just a "hiccup" in the system somehow. I kinnda figured it was going in that direction. Glad you got it sorted out.<br /><br />BTW, your assumptions about the Mods, here at iboats was right. They routinely change listed picture URL's just to mess with you. If you're new, and have less than 40 posts, then you're fair game. <br /><br />Ah HA! I see that you now have 42 posts.....you're outta' their sights now... not to worry.<br /><br />(Of course , I'm just messing with ya, the Mods are good fellows and have enough to think about!)
