Looks like you're making good progress. That's a nice looking lapstrake hull. What's the length of the boat and what year/HP is that fine looking V4 you got hanging there?

It's 17' open bow.
motor is Seahorse 85hp. I believe it's a 1972. I'll double check. I'm replacing the water pump and need to figure out how to make the spark advance lever from sticking. I actually think it might be because the motor was overheating. With new water pump it might be OK. Other then that the motor starts right up every spring.

Thanks for the comments. My plan is to get back on the water by July 1st...opening day for Crab. Nummy!!!!

Hey, just wondering if there have been any updates on this build? I have a 70 Thompson 18' Bowrider (according to the title, anyway) that I got from my father-in-law that needs at least a transom replacement. The floors have already been done. I would love to see the rest of this build.
