This question has came up from time to time so I thought I would post this info.
If you want to post pictures to this forum, either in your signature or posts and replies, the best way to do it is to get you an account at www.fishingworks.com
It is free and I never have any trouble getting pictures to load like I do from other places.
You have a couple choices once you have got your account set up.
Once you log into the site, go to my photo album, then click add photo, browse your puter to get the photo you want and click save photo.
Once it is loaded onto your photo album, you can either right click the little picture or click view.
If you right click little picture, then click on properties and then highlight the url, copy it and then come to i-boats.
If you are trying to put something in a post or reply, click the radio button for image, then paste the url in the box and click ok.
Once you have done this, click preview post and see if it loads.
If it don't then something is not right.
Always make sure the url ends in jpg, or gif.
Now if you want a bigger picture, all you have to do is click view at the fishing works album and once it loads up, just follow the above instructions for the little picture.
This method also works for your signature in your profile area only you might just want to use a little picture here and also you must type the image in here as follows.

If that don't work then try the img in uppercase
Hope this will answer some question about posting pictures.
If you need any help, feel free to ask me and I will try my best to help out. :)

Spinner_bait Nut

The little pic is a thumbnail and the big pic takes more screen than shows so you cant see all the pic at once.
Is there a happy medium??

Re: Picture posting Info

If you have a photo enhancement program like photo house or something, then you can resize it before you load it to fishing works.

The question has came up and I just wanted to offer my services to the fine people on this forum.

If you have a picture that is "big" and would like to have it smaller and you have no photo software, then just send it to me and I will resize it for you and send it back.

That way you will have to different sizes of the picture.
Am glad to help.
Just send them to grizzlybear310@peoplepc.com and I will take care of it for you.
