The other side was wearing out and I just installed a longer exhaust hose, but now this side just crumbled. Anyone ever repaired these or do you just replace the whole yoke? If so I think I might find a good used one. Are they hard to swap? Do I have to remove engine?

Thanks in advance

Eric

Ayuh,.... I've never done a Volvo, is that the top of the Y-pipe, or is there another joint before the Y-pipe,..??
If it IS the Y-pipe,....
Replacement is the Answer,... It's pretty Easy, After the motor is Out....

This is the y pipe right where the bellow connects from the riser.

After the motor is out, O no!

Any chance you can get it out with the motor still in?? I see the bolt heads on the transom shield, I assume the bolts have nuts that connect to the bolts on the engine side. I would not think the bolts thread into the Y pipe itself. It does look tight, but if there is anyway to replace without removing the engine?
