Kon Ron i have a charger boat designed just like that sitting in the barn powered by a 50 merc i might get it out and restore it I have checked all the posts on the beast thet jasonj is doing and learned a lot from him on my little bass boat i am doing . wish you luck with it these guys are very helpful.

The Horrors, The Horrors...I had successfully repressed those nightmare-ish memories through intensive psychotherapy and Dr Phil episodes. At least you won't need as much glass and resin as I did...

Looking good. That boat is very similar to my '76 Glastron that I just laid paint on tonight. I had to strip it down almost as far as you did. Much of the worst is over. Once you get the new stringers glassed back in, it will fly together. If you get stuck and frustrated, you can step back and pull out the grinder again to make it all fit, LOL. Like JasonJ, I was working on forgetting how much I hate fiberglass dust and grinding, and sanding, and....Ok I've regressed enough..... Keep us posted on how you progress!

Hey,<br />That looks like the vip boat that I am about to restore.... what model of boat is that ? I could swear that it was the same boat.<br /><br />Looking good... this helps me know what I will be getting into under my deck.
