Can someone please explain to me how to get pictures from my computor onto my post??????????<br /> Thanks.......walleyehed

The way I did it was to put pix on a web site first. Then it was something like

to get them to show in the post. I don't think you can upload the pix the way you do on other sites.<br /><br />There are a number of site that will host your pictures for free. I think www.myfishingpictures.com is one.

walleyehed, i'm kinda computer stupid but i'll tell you what i do. <br />first i started a web page at msn and loaded all my pics on there, then you can click on the pic then right click to get to properties, then highlight everything up to the jpg and copy it, then you come to the forum and click image, erase the http:// in the image box because you've already copied one from your web page, then paste it there and click ok. thats what i do, i may be wrong but i think you have to have an http:// in front of the properties before it can be an image. like i say though, i'm computer stupid! my wife had to show me all this before i could do it. sbn helped me with it to.

Kenny:<br />Go to the "my fishing pictures" link above, register if you haven't done so. Click on "upload". Choose the jpeg picture off of your hard drive ( should be 100 kb or so), and fill out all that is appropriate on the screen.<br />Once you submit and it takes you back to your picture file, copy the "image link" in the picture box, not at the top in your web address line. Once you're back in iboats 'post a reply', just hit the image button, right click with your mouse and 'paste' your url. voila! Picture in post.<br /><br />

When I highlight url and select copy, nothing happens.......when I go back to iboats reply and right click on image,"Paste" is not active-not dark like the rest of the options on the tab?????????????????
