pisser on an 50 hp evinrude

i dont know where the water is supose to be pissing from on this engine.i run the engine for 20 min and the head stays warm to touch but not hot.i see that is pisses water out under the water line but i dont know if it is supose to be comming out somewhere else on this model its a 1974 50 hp evinrude.i see a square plate about 6 inches down from the cowling with 2 slits in it but no water comes out there. should i be worried ? its not getting hot so it must me pumping water

I have a 1973 Johnson and it does not have a pee-hole. There should be an exhaust relief port coming from the head on the back of the motor. This is where the water discharges on my motor.<br />Dustin
