Pitot Tubes...???

Just launched a new Triumph 190 Bay, and no speedometer reading at all. Can someone tell me where to exactly find the pitot tube and what might be wrong with it? As the boat is in the water, I'd have to beach it and feel around.<br /><br />Thanks

It's just a small hole in the front of the lower unit. Any small object could block it and they aren't particularly accurate when they aren't blocked. You should be able to find it with the motor tilted up.<br /><br />A transom mounted wheel (usually on you fish finder) or better yet GPS is far more accurate.
