Question, I have a 16 ft Vectra space deck boat with 115 hp OB. I just installed nauticus smart tabs and I know enough to trim the motor in when taking off and then trimming the motor to vertical once on plane. Question , now do I back off on the throttle to lower my planning speed? I am trying to plane at about 16 to 18 mph. Boat and motor are 2007 , the motor is a Suzuki 4 stroke
Thanks a Bunch !

Ayuh,... You've got to punch out to get On plane, adjust trim,+ then start backing down the throttle..
Playing with it will tell you how Slow you can go...
To Slow,+ you'll just fall off plane...

Bondo is correct, get the boat on plane then back off the throttle until you reach the threshold. That boat should stay on plane at 15 to 16 MPH no problem.
