plastic carburetors having hairline cracks

hi just a quick question to anybody who has heard of this being a

a problem with these carby or is that line just the join line from the molding die as i am not sure but the mechanic says hairline cracks are common in plastic carby but when you research it nobody ever complained it being a common problem any help would be appreciated thanks phil

thats a mold line where the material coming in from two different injection ports came together

Mold line....
I had 3 out of the 6 carbs on mine actually crack at a different location
