hello, after numerous posts ive found that my shift cable bellows is torn. Im going to try to do this my self. I found a post that listed a kit as well as all the special tools needed to do this but i cant find it anymore. Also need the post that tells how to properly remove the out drive. Thanks!

Shift to forward, remove six bolts on upper gear housing and your remove the trim cylinders from the drive. Bounce the unit once to free it if stuck and remove.

Get yourself a manual... it will be helpful in MANY ways now and in the future.

Just curious but what problems would this cause? Leaking because my boat is taking on some water?
