Hi Guys & Gals,

New member here. I have a 2005 optimax 115 2 Stroke with an aluminum prop that's 13x19P.

I am wondering if a 14.2 x 18P will fit my motor. I'm not sure on the diameter and offset, I would not want to hit the top anode fin?

I am looking at this prop used online to swap. (Nercury Enertia 14.2 x 18P) http://www.boatpropellerwarehouse.co.../5429/18-pitch

Can I or is it advised that I remove that top adjustment fin? How far away does the prop blade need to be from the cav plate above the fins?

Please see pictures below of how my current prop sits to give you an idea of clearance. All input is appreciated!

You need to verify it will fit your 115HP. The application description says no. Measure your gearcase diameter. That prop has a 4-3/4" hub, and I think your gearcase is 4-1/4".

It won't fit. The 3 cylinder 115 opti uses the small case. There was a V6 115 opti, that one had the bigger case

That prop is easily fixable by any good prop shop.Or just order the proper new prop from here.Iboats prop prices are hard to beat and my friend owns a prop business so I know .Only thing I wish is that they had of included a sales receipt in the box that way I wouldn't have had to rely on the mood of the border agent ,which thankfully was a generous and forgiving mood, lol.

Thanks guys. I am ordering a Qucik Silver Black Diamond 13x19. I was really hoping that would fit my gear case. Is it just a clearance issue? The hub looked the same.
