Looks a lot like a Peterboro. Your bottom line doesn't list a location - are you in Canada? Most Peterboros stayed in Canada, although I am sure quite a few made it south of the border. It's obviously strip-built, probably cedar. Certainly has Peterboro lines. Thompson had pretty much gone lapstrake by the 1950s, so I don't think it came out of Cortland. The ribs look too narrow to be a PennYan.<br /><br />There are several Peterboro afficianados in the ACBS Toronto chapter (
www.acbs.org). Might want to look them up... <br /><br />Are the decks planked or plywood sheet? For some reason, the deck doesn't look original, from what I can see.<br /><br />Looks like you need a bit more motor for it!
