and now it takes at least twice as long for the water to drain when I take it out of the water, I've ran the motor hard and it does not run hot, has a strong stream and the water pressure is maxed out at 30 psi +. I have owned this boat since it was new and I never recall this much water draining when taking it out of the water. Can this cause any damage? Maybe I should take the lower unit back off and make sure every gasket and grommet is on correct. The motor is a 1996 115 Evinrude intruder model e115gledr and it has the system check warning system. I did not have an o-ring below my drive shaft splines and according to an earlier post my engine does not have one. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
