Hello to all I am getting to the point that i want to brake this outboard. I recently purchased a 10' boat with a 7.5 mercury thunderbolt 7.5 hp outbaord. I was told that all i had to do was bolt the carb back on and put in a new pull chord. After inspecting the motor for awkward smells it seems pretty good but what do i know. Anyhow it seems that my carb is incomplete. I took it to a boat dealer which told me that it is complete but i beg to differ. I know I am missing a few components in order to put it together and try to start it. PLEASE help me by posting any pics, links you may have to help me identify this dam carburetor PLEASE. I am dying to get out in the water already.

Re: Please help me identify my carb

Hello all well I was finally able to download the pictures of my carb. I know somewhere i wrote the numbers that are on it on one of these post. One thing is for sure it's a tillotson. If I am unable to find the attachments to this carb would I be able to swap out a carb from the same type motor as a replacement because it sees that no more of these are in existance?

That is carb type "C" per the mercury manual. PM an email address and I'll send you a diagram.
