hey guys, any help will be greatly appreciated. I have a 70hp yamaha , it is a 1999 model . It had been sitting a couple of years when I got it , Siphoned gas out of the boat. Replace plugs, gas about six gallons and used a can of Yamaha Free Ring Additive, fuel seperation filter was replaced and used Engine Tune (btw oil injection is still on motor).
Finally got a chance to take it out to the lake, it took off and was cruising for about 30 seconds and then started bogging and coasting 8mph at WOT! I put it in neutral reved it up w/o problems, waited a few minutes and started off good and then again bogged. I'm not sure what to do next, any help would be much appreciated.the first place.
Thanks in advance

What type of fuel tank and fuel line assembly do you have? I think you meant Yamaha Ring Free additive. That is very good. How many years has the motor been sitting? Is water coming out the pilot hole when it is running?

Thanks for the tips, going to try replacing the fuel pump (after I figure out where it's located). Not sure what type of fuel tank/lines besides a 31 gallon tank on a 1999 Zodiac 480DL Yachtline inflatable boat.
I'm having a hard time finding a good Yamaha mechanic in the Cleveland area, if anyone knows of one please pass the info along.
Appreciate the help and will follow up with an update once fuel pump is replaced
