We have an Aloha tri-tune pontoon with an upper deck. We live on a river and often take our kids and friends to sandbars on the weekends. Usually the women tend to sit on the boat and try to visit, but my husband blasts the stereo so they can listen to music, which makes it really loud for those of us on the boat considering the fact that the speakers are basically under our seats by our feet. He commented this weekend that he needs to look into outward-facing speakers that he can use while on the sandbar so it is not so loud for those of us on the boat. His birthday is coming up and I would love to surprise him but know nothing about speakers. Are there any mountable speakers that are wireless, waterproof and use bluetooth that could work? I want to find something that does not require professional installation. We keep our boat in the water at our dock behind our house and the river has dropped significantly so there's a good chance that we may not be able to get it out to take to a shop to install something. We tend to pull straight onto sandbars so the speakers would need to be on the front of the boat or possibly the upper deck? We have a covered dock so the boat is mostly protected from weather. Can anybody help me or direct me to a boating company or store I can call who might have some ideas? Thanks!
ETA: We do not need anything ridiculously loud or with bass that makes the neighborhood shake or anything. We just need something that can project the music outward that is separate from the boat stereo system.
