Hello, I have old jet ski trailer that I modified for john boat\canoe.
One of the leaf springs got busted.
I tried to find replacement , but was not able even to find this type of spring anywhere.
Do you know what it is called?
Where can I get it?

Please help!

Thanks. 20190615_181830.jpg

I can share that I worked on RV's (and all sorts of trailers of all kinds) for 20 years, and I've never seen or heard of anything like that.

It's called Rear Quarter (1/4) Elliptical Suspension. Never saw one on a trailer. Old cars, but never for a trailer.

A new torsion axle would fix you right up.

That type of spring looks like an accident waiting to happen, I also suggest a torsion axle. If you have a Six Robblees in your area, they are also a good source for parts. https://sixrobblees.com

it would, but just the axle itself costs more than trailer worth...

Just think of it this way, you put a torsion axle on it, then you have doubled the price of what the trailer is worth now and if you have a bad spring, it is basically worth nothing right now.

It looks like for about $60 I can get 2 leaf springs and all hardware to install them at etrailer.com, so probably that is what I do.
Thanks for your help.
