my 65hp 4cyl merc has no model plate fitted ,it is battery ignition which seems to make it 67-70 on the power head is stamped ''PANTHER ''

my 1970 650 65hp has
"PANTHER" D 834-3997
so i might think yours would be 1968 - 1970 ? ? ?
